The students need to quickly write down a food word that starts with the letter the teacher said, something you find in the house with that letter, a job which starts with that letter, and the name of a place (city, state, etc.) that starts with that letter. When one student finishes all columns, they yell out "Stop." (2) Have students write one past tense sentence with each of the irregular past tense verbs in the list.
