Instructions
Select the correct expression in the conversation below.

RONDA - I heard you started taking tennis lessons.

BILL - Yes.  I've always wanted to learn to play tennis.  My wife is an excellent tennis player but I really didn't know how to play very well.  I finally decided to and enroll in a tennis class.

RONDA - My husband and I took that tennis class last year.  We even competed in an amateur tennis match.  We played as partners.

BILL - How did you do?

RONDA - My husband played great but I .  I kept missing the balls.

BILL - Was he disappointed that you didn't win the competition?

RONDA - He pretended like it didn't matter but I think he really want to win.  I think I .
BILL - I'm not very coordinated but I'm going to try to learn to play.  I'll .
RONDA - Maybe you'll be a better player than me.  I don't play anymore.  I .  Maybe you should be my husband's new tennis partner.
